This classroom guide was developed to accompany the exhibit that marks the 50th anniversary of the Supreme Court's groundbreaking decision that ended legal segregation in the US. The guide has activities, suggestions for research, and other materials that educate 4th through 12th graders about this historic time. A CD-ROM of additional source materials was created and attached to the inside back cover. 30,000 books were distributed to school teachers nationwide and helped educate many thousands of students who could not come to Washington to see this important exhibit.
